1. Welcome to the Fount of Mercy, Saviour, Thou the Spring of Life! Light upon the pilgrim's pathway, humble sinner's Help in strife! Thou the will of Thy dear Father unto us here didst make known. Bind our hearts by grace together and refresh us at Thy throne.
2. Light that in the world is beaming from the Father, Word of Old, that once earthly form had taken, while Thy love no bounds could hold. Peer within our heart's dark corners, let Thy Spirit pierce our soul, that we from vain pride, O Saviour, may be freed and thus made whole.
3. Jesus, Prince of Peace, invited hast Thou us to Zion's height; makest known to us God's graces; Thee we hail, the King of Light! Let Thy peace anew be granted, for salvation is Thine own. Be to us a Staff of comfort, through the gospel to us shown.
4. O Thou good and faithful Shepherd, to whom all Thy sheep are known, and who truly seeks the lost ones with a love before unknown. Thou dost lead us in green pastures, by the living waters still; heal our wounds and give in suff'ring peace and comfort to our fill.
