1. Ten thousand times ten thousand in raiment pure and white, the host redeemed by Jesus, goes up to Zion's height. They now have gained the vict'ry, His blood has cleansed from sin. Ye pearly gates, now open and let the victors in!
2. Through all the heav'n resounding the golden harps now ring; like sounds of mighty oceans, the song the victors sing! How sweet the joy of heaven when conflicts here are o'er and God shall grant a blessed reward on yonder shore!
3. Through Thy great love and merit the sacrifice was made; Thou Lamb of God, by dying the price of sin has paid. In legions now they're singing before the throne of God while thousand times ten thousand here on the earth still plod.
4. How joyful then the greeting when we our Saviour hail with loved ones who before us have trod this tearful vale! The widows and the orphans no longer in dismay, all desolation ceases, God wipes their tears away!
