1. O what peace and what rejoicing brings this blessed Christmastide. We see age and youth together in goodwill and love abide.
2. Candles may be brightly burning, happy all with Christmas cheer. But the love from God proceeding does the hearts fill all the year.
3. All too short the joys of Christmas where the Saviour is unknown. Lasting joy receive we freely from the Prince of peace alone.
Refrain: Praise to God let us be singing and peace on earth, goodwill to men be bringing; for to us the Saviour is born this glorious Christmas morn.
