1. Before the congregation Your children come today. In solemn vow they promise in faith to walk Your way. Before Your altar standing, they pray for faith and strength that daily they may practise to gain the goal at length.
2. Their parents' faithful pleading, their love and constant care from morn 'till eve surrounded their own in fervent prayer. A life today does open; a challenge it will be. Hold fast their hands, dear Father, that clearly they may see.
3. Oh! Grant them grace and mercy to keep what they have vowed; with deeds confirm their callling that they have voiced aloud. In Your name they go onward– their life, Lord, starts in You, Your Spirit is their Leader that guides them sure and true!
