Goals and Learning Objectives

Our Sunday School and Religious Instruction programs are centered around three foundational goals that will develop an understanding of basic Christian beliefs and the New Apostolic doctrine while nurturing a relationship with God. In Sunday School and Religious Instruction, children will:

  • Know God and His Works
  • Understand the New Apostolic Doctrine
  • Experience Joy in Community

 
In addition to the foundational goals, learning objectives for each goal have been identified and categorized by topics for Sunday School (PreK-5th) and Religious instruction (6th-7th). While suggested grades for learning objectives are provided as flexible guidelines, it’s important to recognize that children may grasp these concepts at different times and in various ways. Acknowledging and celebrating each child’s progress and individual growth in their spiritual journey is as vital as their comprehension of these learning objectives.
