Episode 70 - Rich in Christ

“Rich in Christ” is the theme for 2019. To deepen our understanding of what it means, below are some aspects to reflect on:

  • Do I have and know Christ? There is so much more to learn of Him and the richness of the kingdom that our Father wants to share with us.
  • To receive the wealth of God, we must first accept Jesus Christ, and we want to make people disciples of Christ.
  • This discipleship is a life-long journey of development – as our knowledge of Him develops, our desire to learn about Him grows, and so does our awareness of the wealth that we receive in Him.
  • This journey starts with belief in Jesus Christ, but in order to progress, we need to follow His word and use the gifts that the Lord gave us because He expects us to use them in His work and in the community (see the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30). In that way, we are sharing His wealth with others. The Lord Jesus is the Heir, and He makes us joint heirs with Him (Romans 8:17).
  • When we realize the richness of Christ, we want to tell others about it! Just as Apostle Peter said, we cannot but speak… (Acts 4:20).
