1. We find our joy in Thee, O Lord, in spite of earthly splendor. To lose Thy grace we can't afford; to Thee we all surrender.
2. We often have to face the world, and mindful of Thy teaching, this joy in Thee is then unfurled: for sin we'll not be reaching.
3. Lord, help us to maintain this joy which always must be nourished. If we for Thee our strength employ, in grace we shall have flourished.
