1. Watch for the time is short; watch while it’s called; today! Earth’s pleasures come to naught watch, child of God, and pray! Watch, lest the flesh succumbs; watch, for the foe is strong, watch till the bridegroom comes; He will not tarry long.
2. Watch with anointed eyes; be not by doubts oppressed. You’ll gain the promised prize; glorious eternal rest! Watch, child of God, and pray, as did your Savior , Christ. He paved for you the way, His life He sacrificed.
