1. The time grows ever shorter, dear child of God, make haste. Come, drink the living water from God’s pure fount of love and grace. Enjoy the bread of heaven, new life you thus shall gain, Let not the grace now given, completely be in vain. The Father loves you dearly, through love He sacrificed And gave for you so freely, the Savior Jesus Christ.
2. Soon He shall be returning to gather home His own, And then shall cease all yearning, then pain shall be unknown. This is the Father’s promise, preserve it in your soul; Let not the powers of darkness divert you from the goal.
