1. Take my heart and make it thine Lord it is my humble sacrifice. Cleanse it by thy living word; free it from all vain desires. May I follow thee and ever in the way of truth endure. Teach me now O blessed Savior; make my heart a temple pure.
2. In this world is much confusion, unrest ever does increase. But my soul finds deep communion in the blessedness and peace. Thou alone does give such comfort through the everlasting love. Thus my longing surges heavenward take me to my home above.
