And then at last

Lyrics

1. And then at last will come the day for which the bride is yearning. What joy the knowledge shall convey, the bridegroom is returning. In garment of pure light arrayed, he will sound the salutation. The hour is come for which you prayed O bridal congregation. The body which by pain and smart and earthly grief was hindered, yet wherein dwells a trusting heart will then become transfigured
2. God’s children then the victor’s song as one shall loud be voicing. With psalms the overcomer’s throng shall homeward go rejoicing and for their love and firm belief, for being true and loyal, from Christ the Lord shall then receive the crown of life eternal
