A streamlet is flowing
Lyrics
1. A streamlet is flowing from land unto land. The wanderer thirsty drinks there from its hand. Say beautiful streamlet, I’m anxious to know your place of abiding, whence do you flow? “from God, the Father, do I come!”
2. The streamlets are many that murmuring flow, They ripple alluring as onward they go. One only, enraptures to heaven the soul; the cross-bearer patient, cheers and makes whole: the love of Jesus which now flows; which God in mercy still bestows.
3. So, pilgrim, now take from the stream here today and drink of its water, so clear, while you may, Come, quench all your thirst at this glorious stream where Jesus, in love, your soul will redeem. To His great love now all resign; in Him find happiness divine.
