1. With pure delight and bliss o'erflowing, I sing with heartfelt joy and zest. I, too, found Him, my Rock and Sunshine; I, too, now rest on Jesus' breast, I, too, now rest on Jesus' breast.
2. He drew me with His love and patience; with tender voice did me pursue: "Come, child, you may no longer tarry; come, peace and rest I give to you; come, peace and rest I give to you."
3. Through eyes of faith I see my Saviour, I see the way I should pursue. I know how He His life has offered and whispered: "This I did for you," and whispered: "This I did for you."
4. My sinful heart was touched and softened and I myself to Jesus gave. Now I have peace, am free from suff'ring; great joy is mine, for He does save; great joy is mine, for He does save.
