1. With glad psalms join in the singing, make for Him the pathway clear. Spread the palms that you are bringing, lo! your King is drawing near! He came forth from David's lineage; He, the Lord, forevermore! He has come in God's own image; highly favoured, Him adore!
2. See your King, God's word fulfilling, meek and humble, He draws nigh. Nations, yield to Him, be willing, He brings blessings from on high. Heaven honours His great glory, angels sing their praises, too. We must tell this wondrous story: Christ brings glorious peace to you!
3. With the joyful choir, resounding, psalms of praise on Him bestow; songs expressing joy unbounding; may the world His glory know! Sing "Hosanna" to the Master, praises to God's holy Son! Though the world may face disaster, we eternal life have won!
