1. Up, arise, O godly witness and your standard firmly plant, to the world the splendours showing of our glorious covenant! In the name of God, our Father, let us spread the gospel word that the precious seed, now scattered, soon our toiling shall reward.
2. O beware, ungodly powers threaten here the holy place. For they threaten rights and justice and the truth try to abase. Shall then mankind be destroyed here under these dark powers' sway? No! We'll fight until we conquer, with new courage join the fray.
3. Though we are but few in number and the foe as legions be, yet we'll closely follow Jesus where He leads to liberty! He was humble through all suff'ring and the victory did gain, so shall we as overcomers then with Him our peace attain!
