1. Toiling bravely onward come whatever may; in the love of Jesus onward ev'ry day. Though we may not battle pleasing to man's will, yet the truth of Jesus human tongues can still.
2. Toiling bravely onward, to the goal away, even when derided as in Noah's day. Though the foe may threaten, fear shall have no place; Christ has us forgiven by His word of grace.
3. Toiling bravely onward we today behold what was once the yearning of the prophets old. In the works of Jesus see our mighty God. Jesus leads us ever onward to our God.
