1. To our loving God sing praises, for His love shall ever last! Songs that, prompted by God's Spirit, courage bring in standing fast. With great zeal God's pow'r is active, bringing Satan's works to naught. Yes, our Lord is everloving, us to His great Work has brought.
2. In God's love is recognition of the Son whom He had sent. And this love is far surpassing all man's knowledge and intent. To His children, rich in mercy He has been and will remain. With compassion for the sinner, He helps heav'nly heights attain.
3. Love would have my heart believing what my mind cannot conceive. Of this love shall none deprive me; Satan seeks me to deceive. Love, may this be my assurance: Great reward is found in thee. Teach me that my song may ever to the Lord praiseworthy be!
