1. Through ev'ry land they journey, the blest and ransomed fold and from their happy voices a wondrous song unfolds. It rings in lands of sorrow as from a happy throng who sing with deepest yearning, with praise, the Victor's song.
2. It is the song of Jesus, that new song they have found. From Calv'ry's cross its echo all over will resound. The song of Christ the Victor, of how His life He gave by which He earned the ransom for all, from death to save.
3. Wherever souls are gathered, with joy they all do sing the song of praise eternal, their thanks to Him they bring. And others join the singing, no words need they express, their joy is seen on faces that beam with happiness.
4. O blessed song of Jesus! When will we sing above? When will You come, dear Saviour, in Your great wondrous love? Come gather soon Your chosen and now our souls prepare so we at last in glory may sing Your praises there!
