1. The love of God is stronger than is death; 'tis from the bosom of His Son outpoured. In direst need it is of life the breath, is full of comfort, bringing one accord.
2. They that have felt God's pure and mighty love, which to the Father them so warmly drew and filled the heart with Spirit from above, will not the cold, deceptive world pursue.
3. O blest the hearts which love within them bear that surging floods can never wash away. O blest are they who such a nature share like unto Him who is the Living Way!
