Lyrics

1. The Lord knows all His people as in the days of yore. The mighty and the humble on ev'ry land and shore. He'll save them from destruction; they never are alone. In living and in dying they will remain His own.
2. The Lord knows all His children, their faith casts out all doubt. Not seeing yet believing, they trust and hope throughout. All born of God's own Spirit are nourished by His word. Before this word they're bowing; they keep it, undeterred.
3. He knows their loving nature, the fruits of Godly love. They seek with honest longing to please their Lord above. Who do so unto others as God has moved their heart, receive as they have given, for God will grace impart.
4. He knows them as His chosen, their courage, hope and zest. In happiness united, they find in Him true rest. The truth of God has brilliance that shines both free and pure upon a fold most blessed which always will endure.
