1. The home of the Father draws me from the earth. The home of the Father is mine by rebirth. Here naught stills my longing, my heart's filled with care; I long for my Father and home over there, I long for my Father and home over there.
2. Farewell, earthly dwellings, I was but a guest. Away with its pleasures and all its unrest. Its mountains and valleys are wonderful sights, but cannot compare with the heavenly heights, but cannot compare with the heavenly heights.
