1. The Father's house is our delight, we there find joy anew. We love to hear, both day and night, Christ's teaching pure and true. There grace and peace from God's throne flows, there Jesus' love with brightness glows. We learn to pray, we learn to love and trust our Lord above.
2. We thank you, loving shepherds true, for all your tender care; already in our days of youth our souls for heav'n prepare. And should we ever seem to stray, from Father's house to move away, with loving care and deep concern, then help us to return.
3. How beautiful when we are found to love the word we hear, like little lambs who gather 'round their loving shepherd dear. We love to hear their call anew, our Lord through them we do pursue. How blest to here be firm and true! Lord, take us home to You.
