1. Take Thou my hand and lead me, I Thee implore, until my life is ended and evermore. Alone I cannot journey, each step needs Thee. Where Thou would go and journey, there take Thou me!
2. Let Thy compassion shelter my feeble heart and make me ever patient in joy or smart! If faithfully I follow the narrow way, Thou surely will me strengthen from day to day.
