1. Take Jesus in your ship of life; let faith and trust possess you! In love a source of strength is He, no danger need distress you. Fear not though billows loudly roar and high the waves that wash the shore.
2. He holds the helm secure and fast, you will not be forsaken. Just trust in Him until the last with childlike faith unshaken. The winds and waves obey His will, at His command they all are still.
3. Be always watchful and prepared; in faith be valiant ever, then Satan, though the fight be fierce, will fail in his endeavour. Christ calms the sea with mighty hand, so follow gladly His command.
