1. So much to learn remains for ev'ry soul, for we have not attained our chosen goal. To learn from God will open heart and mind and through His teaching blessing we will find. A humble heart is open to the Lord; our willingness will bring a great reward.
2. So oft in earthly things we find our joy, yet slow are we God's teaching to employ. And often here in all our earthly woe to grasp the hand of God we are not slow. We turn to Him in times of need and care, yet always of His love should be aware.
3. God's hand of love is offered here today. He sent His Son– for us prepared the way. His teaching is: To walk the narrow way. Let us take care in childlike mind to stay. Our joy should be: our life to give the Lord in gratitude that we are born of God!
