1. Should I not to God be singing, ever to Him thankful be? All that He to me is bringing clearly shows His love for me. It is naught but lovingkindness that His gracious heart does move. Endless, patiently He proves: Those who follow Him, He blesses. Earthly things shall pass away, God's love will forever stay!
2. God's own Son, a precious off'ring, yes, for me too He was sent. From eternal pain and suff'ring saved my soul, His blood was spent! O Thou fount of depth and beauty, how can I with human mind fathom why Thou art so kind though I search with zealous duty? Earthly things shall pass away, God's love will forever stay!
3. Holy Spirit, noble Leader, granted me, as is His word, be my constant Guide and Ruler here and when to heav'n transferred. O may Thou my heart be filling with Thy radiant truth and light; vanquish death and all its might, hell and all it's power stilling. Earthly things shall pass away, God's love will forever stay!
4. Lord, Thy endless love I'm praising, boundless, too, Thy mercy mild. Thus I plead, to Thee hands raising: Gracious Father, hear Thy child! Please extend to me Thy favour, grant new strength and grace, I pray! Be Thou near me night and day, let me dwell with Thee forever. Praise and honour all are Thine, now and ever, Lord divine!
