1. Our King doth come, hark to the call! Make haste, your lamps prepare. The time is short, buy precious oil, fill up your lamps with care. The Bridegroom comes, hear the call! O virgins, make now your choice! O heed the call, O hear the warning voice!
2. In Him rejoice, O virgins wise! Your lamps with oil are filled. The Bridegroom comes, you are prepared; your hope will be fulfilled! Stand in the light, not the dark, and let your lamps brightly beam. Preserve your oil, your lamp must glow and gleam!
3. The Bridegroom comes, the call is clear. The bride now enters in that great and glorious wedding feast where all is joy within. The day and hour not yet known when Christ, our Lord, will appear. He calls His own; His urgent voice now hear!
