1. On Zion's mount of radiant light, ye faithful heroes, rise. Go forth to fight before the night creeps o'er the fading skies. Against the foe that lurks below our forces let be hurled; faith leads to victory, we know, that overcomes the world!
2. The Prince of Life goes on before, His word is our defence. We tread the path the saints of yore once trod with confidence. The living word, like sunshine bright, lights up this darkened world; gives strength of faith to win the fight, love's banner keeps unfurled.
3. Then onward from the mount of light, our hearts with love aflame, we'll vanquish all the hosts of night in Jesus' conqu'ring name! The victor wears the crown adored, white raiment of the Son. The faithful servant's great reward is rest from battles won.
