1. O how precious are the moments in God's tabernacle here, where in oneness we're united, through the door of grace draw near. Ev'ry heart with joy perceiving that His love here for us lives, grants us comfort in all suff'ring and for sorrow joy it gives!
2. Lord, again today we gather, to Thy sanctuary flee. Thankful hearts and lips together honour, praise and worship Thee. Thou, O Lord, now manifested through the Spirit of Thy Son, till today hast us protected and our faith reward hath won.
3. Comfort Thou the brokenhearted with the balsam that's from Thee. Let us not with Satan trifle, wise and watchful let us be. Teach us faithfully to honour all Thou didst to us entrust, how we may in ev'ry danger, as a bride, stay pure and just.
4. Favours, these that we petition, grant through Thy apostles' word, wherein Thou hast placed the weapons that are sharper than a sword. Thou, O Lord, in us be Victor over hell and death and grave, ev'ry enemy succumbing, to us all a mighty stave.
