1. Let your hearts be ever joyful and be filled with thanks and cheer, for the Father kind in heaven calls us all His children dear.
2. God does lead His children safely, shields us in the daily strife. He is gracious to us always; gives us hope and strength in life.
3. Darkness soon will gather round us if we turn away from Him. Soon our steps will be uncertain and our light of joy grow dim.
4. 'Tis the righteous who are fruitful and their path is always bright. Let us therefore serve Christ only and in sin have no delight.
