1. Jesus, we pray now, grant Your blessing, for we this child in faith do bring; that it through life may be confessing to be Your own, Redeemer, King! Lord, with Your loving arms enfolding, ever preserve this child from harm. May it, Your goodness e'er beholding, Your name exalt with joyful psalm!
2. Lord, with Your pure and holy merit from ev'ry sinful bond make whole. Grant that the power of Your Spirit may soon be active in the soul, that it from heaven be receiving blessings abundant, grace anew, fervently striving and believing, Your Godly pathway to pursue.
