1. Into pastures green and fair leads the Shepherd us with care, shows to us the fount of living waters here. In this blessed peace we live, peace as only He can give. O how bright becomes the vision and how clear!
2. How we love to linger there, far from ev'ry earthly care and in prayer our hearts to God we there unfold. In its quiet Him we hear as He to our soul draws near, plainly speaking to us words of love untold.
3. He is friendly, true and good, seeks us as a shepherd would when a lamb within the thicket goes astray. Brethren, let us evermore follow as He walks before, 'til at last to glory He shall lead the way!
Refrain: Glorious stream of life eternal; blessed, peaceful pastures green. Jesus' word is there revealed, many by Him would be healed; by the pure in heart alone can He be seen.
