1. I praise God's love in adoration which is by Jesus Christ revealed. Myself yield to its inspiration, this love that first my pardon sealed. All thoughts of self from me I'll banish into the gulf of love to vanish.
2. O love, thou art so kind and friendly; Ah, how my heart doth long for thee. Love meek, yet strong, hath drawn me kindly, with all I have, I bow to thee. O love, thou virtue God effected, hath me and I have Thee selected.
3. My heart is Thine, in earth and heaven, Redeemer, Thou my greatest good. Thou hast in love Thy pure life given for my salvation through Thy blood. From greatest sin didst Thou deliver: I give my heart to Thee forever.
4. O Jesus, may Thy name forever be deeply in my heart impressed. May Thy great love, O Jesus, ever be both by heart and mind confessed. In word and deed, in all my nature, may Thou, Lord, be in ev'ry feature.
5. In this most precious name of Jesus, the Father's heart is manifest. A fount of love and peace most gracious still flows today in sweet attest. If sinners knew this, my dear Saviour, they soon in love would seek Thy favour.
