1. How will it be then after this life's journey, when the last battle's fought and we are free, and we with Him as bride go up to heaven, pass through the portal of eternity? When from our feet the dust of earth is shaken, toil and its sweat at last are wiped away; then we shall see the reasons for our striving that oft refreshed our courage on life's way!
2. How will it be when we will hear Him calling: "Come, all ye blessed, come, into the light"? When at God's throne we on the steps are standing there face to face with Him– O gracious sight! Then eyes will see where once the tears were flowing, all human fears in heaven will be stilled; all wounds and pain through His love then shall vanish and with eternal bliss our souls be filled!
