2. Grant God's children gifts and talents that they all strive valiantly. Courage, faith, in even balance, for God's work in unity.
3. In this world with all its treasures, carelessness and comfort thrive. To deny all worldly pleasures is a goal for which we strive.
4. Grant that in this world's confusion, faith and joy will fill our heart. Grant in glory this conclusion: Never from our Lord we'll part.
