1. Here is my heart; my God, I give it Thee who hath by grace it made. "Deny the world, My child, give it to Me!" Thy voice did me persuade. In love my gift is dedicated; O take it, Lord, and consecrate it. Here is my heart, here is my heart.
2. Here is my heart; it graciously receive although it is forlorn. I give it Thee in love and true belief, Thy grace I do not scorn! With sin and guilt it is bespotted, with dark desires and shame allotted, my sinful heart, my sinful heart.
3. Here is my heart; in Christ it would be whole; it to the cross draws nigh, and says: "O Lord, Thou treasure of my soul, life by Thy death have I." It has in wounds of Christ, the Saviour, found comfort, blessedness and favour, my faithful heart, my faithful heart.
