1. Hearken! A narrow way: Jesus the way! Only one open door: Jesus the door! Only one Shepherd kind seeks all the lost to find and but one bleeding Lamb died for the world. Only one narrow way: "I am the way!" Only one open door: "I am the door!"
2. Only one sacred fold, one as of old when those who first believed, God's gift received. Only one gentle hand leads on the faithful band safely through joy and pain to heav'nly home. Only one narrow way: Jesus the way! Only one open door: Jesus the door!
3. For you His blood was shed, for you He bled; for you the greatest Friend His life did spend. To find that way to life for which so few here strive, though often steep and hard, worthwhile it is. That is the bridge restored, leads to the Lord. Here through apostolate enter that gate!
4. You ask: Where is that way, the door today? That Lamb who shed His blood, that gracefilled flood? Where is Christ's Church restored– His Spirit now outpoured? Where is the Lord's abode– that glorious goal? There– through apostles' heard: God's holy word; there one may find release, yes, glorious peace.
