1. Glorious, glorious is the Work of God, built upon Mount Zion where the saints have trod. See, our Saviour Jesus dwells in servant's guise, grants us grace and mercy; all is He, and wise.
2. Glorious, glorious God now builds His house; speaking through apostles who our hearts arouse; ever nearer drawing all who are His own, gives us heav'nly manna, wells of grace makes known.
3. Glorious, glorious is God's holy word; gladly then accept it, all who have it heard. If His realm of glory you may long to see, let His Spirit mould you, more like Him to be.
