1. Fountain of purity, fount of all grace, only redemption from sin and disgrace. Jesus, Redeemer from mis'ry and woe, wash me and make me as white as the snow!
2. Though I endeavoured, I never was free; pure can a sinner by grace only be. Free are the waters which from this fount flow; wash me, O Jesus, as white as the snow!
3. Streams of pure water, the fountain Thou art, cleanse me and purify, peace bring my heart. All, Lord, art Thou, so I pray in my woe: "Wash me and make me as white as the snow!"
