1. Bless us, Lord, this final day as the old year now has ended. Bless us on our future way; hold Thy hands o'er us extended that, with soul and body striving, goodness we may be deriving.
2. If we fail along the way, lift us up, Lord, fail us never. Teach us then how not to stray from the narrow path, not ever. Grant us wisdom, grace and blessing, thus towards our goal progressing.
3. Lift us up so that we may feel Thy loving hands attending; start with us anew each day, thus assure a blessed ending that we may, through Thy love guided, reach that home for us provided.
