1. Beyond where clouds no more appear nor night the world enshrouds, a mansion's there prepared for me where naught my longing clouds.
2. No pain, nor suff'ring and disstress, disturb its holy peace. With transformed eyes that home above my soul already sees.
3. There shines the sun in brightest hue, it fades the light of day. No mortal form can there exist and night is far away.
4. Pain, suff'ring, want and guilt of sin, the earth I bid farewell. I want to enter peace with God and in my home would dwell.
