Lyrics

1. Before my heart's King bowing a humble gift I bring and though it's small and modest, it pleases Him, my King. It is my will I offer upon this narrow way, so that His mind and stature may grow in me each day.
2. I will no longer tarry by anxious fear distressed; with joyful heart I'll venture to lean upon His breast. For me His life He offered, for me He shed His blood. Will He not always render what wholesome is and good?
3. I know that His compassion is boundless like His grace. And even poorest sinners He holds in fond embrace, and through His love eternal He seeks to make me whole. I will with patience follow His footsteps to the goal.
4. O look upon me kindly, on me, Your feeble child. I look to You, my Saviour, for strength and mercy mild. I lay my hands now gladly in Your almighty hand and know You home will lead me, up to the Father land.
