1. Am I ready? Am I worthy? Who do I resemble? When in me these thoughts arise, my soul begins to tremble. With God's Spirit I was sealed: Has Jesus nature been revealed in my thoughts and walk of life, even during times of strife?
2. Am I ready? Am I worthy? Through His love and merit in this promise, great, I share: His kingdom I'll inherit. Help me, Lord, each day to strive to keep my faith and hope alive, and each day anew embrace all the wonders of Your grace.
3. Am I ready? Am I worthy? Lord, You know the measure of the zeal in me aflame, in seeking heav'nly treasure. May the first love never fade, the love that in my heart was laid. Let my longing now increase till I know eternal peace.
