Devotional Thoughts
This treasured hymn beautifully summaries the gospel, or "good news," of Jesus Christ. In a year that's been filled with much suffering and so many challenges and unknowns, it's important for us to remember that we have a God who loves us so much that He came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. This is the best news there could ever be, and it's for you and for me. It's also the reason why, even at the end of a year like 2020, we can confidently sing praises to the glory of God. What hope we have in Jesus Christ!
