The Giver of Life

We believe in a triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While the Trinity is beyond our human perception and knowledge, we understand from Scripture, tradition, and doctrine that each Person of the Trinity has some unique characteristics, even though, at the same time They are indivisible and completely unified. The Nicene Creed states that we believe in “the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life.” We believe the Holy Spirit is the One sent out into the world through the church; an actuating Spirit of movement, vibrancy, dynamism, and vitality. The Spirit is the bringer of life and vigor into the work of the church and the life of the believer. This will be our focus for the month of June - the Holy Spirit, the Giver of Life.
